Alpine Education Scholarship

The Knuckleheads Alpine Outdoor Society, in partnership with Island Alpine Guides, is pleased to announce the launch of our Alpine Education Scholarship (AES). The aim of this scholarship is to help local youth cultivate their outdoor skills through professionally-delivered courses. This scholarship presents an amazing opportunity for individuals who may not otherwise have access to professional mentorship. Learning opportunities through the AES include backpacking, mountaineering, backcountry skiing/snowshoeing, and climbing. Applicants do not need to have prior experience in these fields, but keen interest is a must.
